Sunday During Sunday and fairly unsettled conditions will prevail. A persistent risk of rain or showers is forecast for much of the day across E Scotland and running down some eastern counties of England. Elsewhere and a mixture of sunshine and showers is forecast, these most frequent in the south and west. Highs 10C to 15C.
Sunday Night Any residual showers or longer spells of rain in the far east and north-east will clear and then many areas will have a dry night on Sunday night with clear spells and variable cloud. With light winds combining with the clear spells then a chilly night is predicted with ground frost possible, lows 2C to 8C.
Monday Into next Monday and with the exception of some showery conditions developing across some areas of the British Isles through the day a lot of dry weather is predicted on Monday with some bright or sunny spells. Pleasant enough in the sunshine too given light and variable winds. Average temperatures, highs 12C to 17C.
Tuesday Into Tuesday and another day of sunshine and showers is currently forecast, but with generally fewer showers than compared with Monday and certainly with a much lower risk of any any longer spells of rain. As a result there will be some more prolonged drier and brighter, if not sunnier spells at times too. Winds remaining light and variable. Average temperatures, highs 12C to 17C.
