Hot southeast, fair for most through the day Good morning, A fair morning for many across England and Wales. There will be good spells of sunshine and it is going to be feeling hot again in eastern areas. A tendency for cloud to be building to the north and west. A front brings thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain to western Scotland and the far west of Ireland. Eastern and central Scotland as well as eastern Ireland should stay dry.
Watch for one or two isolated showers being triggered by the heat in the southeast this afternoon. Otherwise a fair end to the day overall. Highs around 30C again in the southeast, generally 22 to 28C and a chillier 17C in northern Scotland. Simon Email me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
