URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 269 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1210 AM EDT Tue May 28 2019 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southeast Ohio Northwest West Virginia * Effective this Tuesday morning from 1210 AM until 400 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A cluster of supercells over central Ohio are expected to track eastward into the watch area while slowly weakening. The strongest cells will remain capable of a few tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles north northwest of Athens OH to 35 miles east northeast of Parkersburg WV.
