The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Southeast Ohio
  Northwest West Virginia

* Effective this Tuesday morning from 1210 AM until 400 AM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...A cluster of supercells over central Ohio are expected to
track eastward into the watch area while slowly weakening.  The
strongest cells will remain capable of a few tornadoes, damaging
winds, and hail.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles
north and south of a line from 35 miles north northwest of Athens OH
to 35 miles east northeast of Parkersburg WV. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
