Areas affected...Eastern CO...Northwestern KS...Southwestern NE

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 306...308...

Valid 270113Z - 270315Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 306, 308
continues.

SUMMARY...Scattered severe thunderstorms will propagate across the
central High Plains this evening. Hail/wind remain the primary
threats.

DISCUSSION...Eastern CO convection is gradually expanding in areal
coverage over the High Plains. Leading edge of a loosely organized
squall line currently extends from Deuel County NE - Washington
County CO - Lincoln County CO. Trailing precip shield is gradually
contributing to a cold pool which may result in a more progressive
MCS evolving across northwestern KS over the next few hours.
