Showers and outbreaks of rain spread from the northwest across the country. Staying dry and warm ahead of this to the southeast until later in the afternoon or early evening. Good Morning,
An area of low pressure to the northwest of the British Isles sends a series of fronts from northwest to southeast across the country taking showers and showery outbreaks of rain with them. The day starts showery, dull and cool for much of Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the northwest of England while central and eastern parts of England are dry and bright.
Through the afternoon rain and showers spread southeastward across the Midlands while to the north and west some spells of sunshine develop in between showers over Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. A cool day here with highs in the mid-teens (Celsius). Warmer to the southeast with highs into the mid-twenties.
Patchy rain reachs the far southeast of England through Monday evening while some good spells of late sunshine develop over eastern Scotland and the northeast of England.
Have a good day!
Claire
