Areas affected...Southwest KS...Eastern OK/TX Panhandles...Northwest
OK

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 365...

Valid 130355Z - 130600Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 365
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat will spread southeast across ww365.

DISCUSSION...Broken squall line has developed over western KS,
extending southwest into the western OK Panhandle. This activity is
not moving particularly fast, about 25kt, but will likely continue
propagating southeast along an instability axis, aided by southerly
LLJ. A few marginally severe hail cores are currently noted within
stronger updrafts, but locally strong winds should be the primary
concern as this activity spreads southeast. At this time it's not
clear whether the intensity of the squall line will warrant a new
watch downstream; however, trends will be monitored nonetheless.
