The best of the sunshine in southern parts of England and Wales, the winds easing in the east too. Feeling chilly. A brighter afternoon with sunny spells, the winds continuing to be light. Scattered showers, mostly in the northwest of England and Midlands as well as Wales. Heavier showrs could affect western parts of Ireland. Tonight is going to be dry for most wit some clearer spells. However, increased cloud through Ireland bringing rain here, this affecting western Ireland too.
