Morning Call: Mostly dry, sun in west - Few showers in east, Oct 14 - 05:44

Broken cloud, sunny spells and mostly dry although a scattering of showers A brisk north-easterly wind effects much of the country during today. There will be cloud this morning across much of northern England and southern Scotland as well as one or two showers over the far south of Scotland. Some bright spells across central and southern parts of England and Wales. Fine across western Scotland and western Ireland as well as western Wales. This afternoon seems broken cloud affecting many northern and eastern areas as well as an isolated shower. Further west it will be brighter with some sunny spells coming through. It should be staying dry for most. Feeling a little milder than recent days especially where you can escape the breeze. Tonight stays dry for most with broken cloud. Sunshine is affecting eastern coast of England but for most it should be dry. The best of any clear skies over western Scotland and western Ireland.
