Wednesday A northeast flow over the UK and Ireland. This brings most cloud to eastern Scotland and eastern England with a ascatering of showers here. Further west there will be some sunny spells thanks to the broken cloud. Ireland should have a bright day too with some sunny intervals, although an isolated shower here and there in central and eastern areas. Feeling a little less cold than it has done in recent days. Breezy on eastern coasts. Highs at 10C in eastern Scotland, 14C in much of central and southern England.
Wednesday Night Broken cloud in England and Wales as well as northeast Scotland overnight. Scattered showers again in eastern England and eastern Scotland. Drier in the west with clearer skies showing in western Scotland. Central and western Ireland will have some clear skies too, the best in the west. Lows around 2C under the clearer skies, 8C in cloudier areas of the east.
Thursday High pressure north of Scotland will bring a north-easterly flow to all areas through Thursday. There will be a scattering of showers feeding in from the North Sea across eastern areas, but the west should be dry with broken cloud. Some bright or sunny intervals for many with the best of these across southern and Southwest in England as well as western Ireland and western Scotland. Temperatures at 10 to 12C for most, but 14C in East Anglia and southeast England.
Friday The east to north-easterly flow persists on Friday with high pressure remaining north of Scotland. There will be a scattering of showers along eastern coast of England and these will affect parts of southern England to. For most other areas it will be dry with broken cloud and some bright or sunny intervals. More prolonged sunshine is expected in western Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as Northwest England. A few showers affecting eastern Ireland but bright in the west. Highs at 10 to 12C at best but 13C in the southeast.
