Hurricane Delta Brings High Winds and Rain to Louisiana’s Coast

Storm surge rose more than seven feet on Friday in some areas of Louisiana, where Hurricane Delta made landfall in the evening as a Category 2. The storm hit 20 miles east of Hurricane Laura’s landfall six weeks earlier.
