Ice risk this morning Good morning, It's a rather messy picture out there this morning, with clusters of showers advancing south & east across England & Wales. A wintry mix of rain, sleet or snow may give local icy patches. The showers should fade for most places this morning, clearing from the far south-east into the middle of the day. A little patchy rain may linger around western coasts and hills.
Sunshine breaking through from the north, giving some lengthy sunny periods for central and eastern Britain into the afternoon. Rain and drizzle returns to the far north-west later. Strong and suddenly squally winds around showers in the south, tending to ease. Feeling cool, today's highs 5 to 8C. Have a great day. Garry
