Local heavy bursts, hail & thunder Good morning, There will be some heavy showers around again today, these locally forming clusters to give frequent bursts of rain for some. However, there will also be plenty of dry and sunny weather around, generally best in central, east & south-eastern regions. The breeze tending to drop, winds becoming very light away from showers.
Showers will be most widespread during the afternoon, locally heavy with hail and thunder, particularly in the north & west of Britain, also Ireland. Today's top temperatures will be 9 or 10C in the north & west, to 12C in the south & south-east. Have a great day. Garry
