Patchy rain in west, dry for most Good morning, A change in the weather today as things turn more unsettled heading into the Easter weekend. Cloud and rain associated with a front passing over Scotland and Ireland, reaching northwest England and Wales around breakfast time. A brighter start for the rest of England and eastern Wales with sunny spells coming through.
The front slips south through the rest of Wales, central and southern England this afternoon. More persistent rain in Wales and southwest England, but the rain more fragmented inland. Becoming drier and brighter for Scotland and Ireland, although showers affecting western coasts and hills.
Rain may intensify again tonight in southern and southeast England, this lingering in the far southeast until the morning. Becoming drier with broken cloud elsewhere.
