Rain, most of it light and affecting eastern Scotland as well as across Northern Ireland and into the far north of England. An area of showers for the far south of Ireland, this extending into southwest Wales and southwest England. Drier in the Midlands, eastern and southern England, although a few showers popping up here this afternoon.
It stays pretty cloudy and damp for eastern Scotland and the far north of England throughout this afternoon, although it should become drier and brighter in western Scotland. The best of the sunny spells tending to be in England and Wales.
Further outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the northeast tonight, but elsewhere it should be mostly dry with some broken cloud.
