The rain appears heaviest across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Rather windy across Scotland, Wales and south west England. Mostly dry overnight. Expect high temperatures of 15 to 19C.
Wednesday 01/06/16 For England and Wales expect a cloudy day with a number of showers, these heavier in the afternoon. Light rain is expected across Northern Ireland. Scotland looks best with a dry day of sunny spells but rather windy. Highs of 18 to 20C.
Thursday 02/06/16 After a dry start with some sunshine, a number of showers may develop across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Again Scotland looks mostly sunny and dry with high pressure ridging in from the north. Highs of 17 to 20C.
Friday 03/06/16 For Friday the forecast becomes more uncertain but showers and spells of rain may affect Wales and the southern half of England. Dry and quite breezy to the north with the best of the sunshine. Top temperatures of 17 to 20C.
Saturday 04/06/16 While some areas will be dry with sunny spells today, scattered showers may develop just about anywhere but the emphasis will be on more dry weather than wet.
