Monday night Residual thunderstorms will rumble on for a few hours in the west & north, and a few additional storms may drift out of northern France toward south-east England into the early hours. Otherwise dry, with light winds and local mist patches. Some coastal fog in the south. Western areas staying mild at 11 to 14C, but central and eastern parts may become cool, lows 6 to 8C, locally lower some rural spots.

Tuesday Another warm day, and feeling humid for most. Some hazy sun, but cloud cover may fill in, particularly western areas. Again, there will be thunderstorms, likely more widespread than Monday, some of these storms active from pre-dawn in central & western areas, but the risk transferring further north & north-east through the day. Local slow-moving torrential bursts. Light winds, sea breezes. Highs 22 to 26C, cooler near coasts.

Wednesday High pressure to the north, and slack pressure across the country. A warm and humid day. Sunshine and broken cloud. Early mist patches will clear. Local heavy showers or thunderstorms developing, mainly in north & west. Light easterly winds, coastal sea breezes. Risk fog around some coasts, mainly east and perhaps south. Top temperatures 21 to 25C, cooler near the coast, particularly in the east, where only around 16C.
