Morning Call: A few showers - An easterly breeze, May 02 - 05:44

Warmest in west Good morning, High pressure lies over the Norwegian Sea, whilst low pressure is over central Europe, resulting in an easterly flow across the British Isles today. A few showers are possible for central and south-eastern Britain as a weak occluded front drifts westwards. Local heavy bursts in the south-east.

Best chance for sunshine will be in west & northern regions, particularly to the lee of high ground in the west. Elsewhere expect a lot of cloud. Today's top temperatures will range from 11C on the east coast, to 14C in the Midlands & south, up to 18C in sheltered western locations. Have a great day. Garry
