URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 470 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 145 AM CDT Sun Aug 27 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Extreme southwestern Louisiana Southeast Texas Coastal Waters * Effective this Sunday morning and afternoon from 145 AM until 100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes likely SUMMARY...The threat for a few tornadoes will persist through at least midday, east and northeast of the center of nearly stationary Tropical Storm Harvey. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles either side of a line from 35 miles west northwest of Angleton TX to 5 miles north of Lake Charles LA.
