UK Forecast: Rain passing south - Colder to north, Nov 15 - 15:46

Thursday A cold front is bringing some outbreaks of rain through northern England and southern Ireland as well ads the far north of Wales this morning. Breezy and cooler weather follows into Scotland and Northern Ireland with showers in the north and west together with gale force winds here. Cloudier and milder through southern and central England. The front will be a much weakened feature as it reaches East Anglia, the Midlands and southern Wales as well as southwest England this afternoon with only patchy rain along it, although thicker cloud. Staying dry in the far south until evening. Colder and drier weather to the north with temperatures dropping quickly and scattered showers in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.

Thursday Night A dry night with clear spells across much of England and Wales. Frost will become widespread especially in central and eastern areas. Breezier conditions in Scotland with some showers to the north and west. Turning increasingly cloudy across Ireland, this cloud reaching western Wales and western England as the night progresses. Lows at -1 to 3C.

Friday The remnants of a cold front clearing southern coasts early on Friday morning. High pressure building into southern Ireland with low pressure to the north of Scotland. This brings windy weather in Scotland with sunny spells, the best in the east. Showers affecting northern and western areas. Dry with sunny spells for England, Wales and most of Ireland. A colder day with tops at 6 to 9C.

Saturday Low pressure slips to the east with higher pressure to the west on Saturday. Rather cloudy with some outbreaks of rain in Ireland and southwest Scotland with plenty of mist and murk here too. Cold with bright spells and some showers to the east. Broken cloud to the south and mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells. Highs at 5 to 9C.
