Morning Call: Very warm & sunny - Low cloud west, Apr 19 - 05:44

Western rain turning lighter and more patchy through today, showers in Ireland and Scotland, best in the southeast Good morning, Warm temperatures will be the main focus of the weather across the UK today. Plenty of sunshine across most of England and Wales as well as much of eastern Scotland. In this sunshine temperatures could peak at 28C in southeast England, mainly 20 to 25C in other sunny areas.

Lower cloud affecting western coasts and hills through the day, spoiling the fine spring weather here. That mist and fog should burn back to coasts as the day progresses but where it does stay misty and cloudy temperatures probably won't get above 16C.

Cloudier skies may affect the west of Scotland too with a few spots of drizzle on hills. Ireland is likely to start fairly cloudy and murky but much of the cloud breaks through the day with sunny spells coming through. Simon Email me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
