UK Forecast: Becoming Very Warm. Dry For Many. - , Jun 23 - 08:59

Sunday A cool start to Sunday but otherwise the day will be dry as high pressure dominates the weather. Variable cloud is forecast to develop across inland areas through the course of the day but less cloud is forecast than Saturday with a greater risk of more prolonged spells of sunshine developing as the day progress. Noticeably warmer than previous days too. Highs 18C to 24C.

Sunday Night Many areas dry into Sunday evening with clear spells and then all areas remaining dry overnight with clear spells and variable cloud too. Cool again in the countryside across the north but temperatures, overall, not as low as previous nights. Lows 7C to 13C.

Monday High-pressure remains in control through Monday. This is going to be bringing another warm day with lots of sunshine. However, a warm front passing through northern Scotland may bring some more cloud here and a few spots of drizzle to western Scottish areas. Temperatures reaching 28C in south-east England, more widely 23 to 26C but only 17C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. This will be bringing another fine day with lots of warm sunshine. Coastal areas may be prone to some mist and fog patches. and cooler sea-breezes too. The potential for a very warm or hot day with temperatures widely 21C to 28C. Cooler around coastal areas.
