Take your pick, there's a bit of everything today! Good morning, A sharp contrast in temperatures across the UK today. Another warm one in the southeast with temperatures to 25C, but much fresher ot the north and west as highs climb to just 13C in northwest Scotland. The reason for the contrast? A cold front which becomes stuck from about northern England, through the Midlands, Wales and into the southwest during the day. It's got cloud associated with it and some spots of rain on it's southern edge, but more persistent rain on it's northern edge through northern England and north wales, although this fading later.
Fresher and sunnier for Scotland and Ireland, very warm with good spells of sunshine n East Anglia and the southeast, although rather humid here. Simon Email me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
