Rain for northern England and Wales Good morning, Slack pressure exists across the British Isles. A cold front lies across northern England and Wales, bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain or drizzle to west & north-western areas, most persistent over the hills of Cumbria and Snowdonia. Warm and humid in southern England, staying dry all day. Fairly murky in the south-west, but plenty of sunshine for central and south-eastern counties once any early fog or low cloud breaks up.
Cool for Scotland and Northern Ireland. A few showers for western Scotland. Breezy around the Irish Sea, also northern Scotland. Windy for the Northern Isles. Today's top temperatures will reach 18 to 22C in southern England, but only 10 to 12C in northern Britain and Ireland. Cooler where rain lingers. Have a great day. Garry
