Morning Call: High pressure - Mostly dry and bright, Feb 11 - 04:45

High pressure brings a largely dry and bright across the UK & Ireland Good morning, Monday begins chilly for most of the UK and Ireland with a widespread groundfrost for Scotland and northern England as well as over higher ground in Northern Ireland and Wales. Any early localised showers over eastern and northeastern coastal areas will fade through the morning.

A dry and bright afternoon for most areas though cloud will build from the west through the afternoon as a warm front approaches Ireland. This could bring some hazy conditions at first becoming overcast as the cloud builds further through the evening. High temperatures will reach 4 to 9C, perhaps even 10C in parts of the southwest.

Cloud will continue to build through the evening, particularly in the northwest where some light showers could develop. Staying dry elsewhere.

Have a good day! Claire
