There will be periods of rain across western parts of the UK and over Ireland too. It will be breezy in the west. Some bright spells across more eastern parts of England and Scotland. Sunday 17/2/19 Low pressure stays west of Scotland on Sunday. A south to southwest flow affects all of the country. A front brings some cloud and outbreaks of showery rain through Ireland and into western Scotland. Most other areas should be dry with sunny spells. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Monday 18/2/19 Fronts edging slowly east on Monday. These bring a fair amount of cloud with them and some patchy outbreaks of rain in the west. Cloudy elsewhere with some drizzle in places. Highs near 8 to 11C.
Tuesday 19/2/19 A ridge of high pressure may build through the country on Tuesday. This allows for some morning mist and fog patches and perhaps an early frost. Most places should be fine once the mist and fog patches have clearer. Highs at 5 to 9C.
Wednesday 20/2/19 High pressure stays over the south on Wednesday. This brings a further risk of mist and fog patches, these lifting to leave dry conditions with sunny spells. The risk of some drizzle in northwest Scotland. Highs around 8 to 12C. Thursday 21/2/19 High pressure with the risk of some mist or fog patches in eastern parts of the country. This should lift to leave a fair day with sunny spells. Breezy in western Ireland. Highs at 8 to 12C.
