Staying mild and mostly settled through this working week High pressure will continue to dominate our weather over the coming days before we see a change to a more unsettled, westerly regime by the weekend. Very mild at first before temperatures fall closer to average for the time of year; still feeling mild for many. Low pressure systems will bring wet and very windy weather through next weekend and into the start of the following week.

Early morning mist and fog in much of England, Wales, eastern Ireland and southern Scotland will slowly clear to leave a sunny day. Cloudier for western Ireland and central and northern Scotland. Highs at 11 to 17C.
Thursday 28/02/19 Probably more cloud around for most on Thursday as a weak front heads eastwards. This brings a few spots of rain to western fringes of Ireland and some more persistent rain in the northwest of Scotland. Cloud and rain will clear eastward through the day to leave a bright afternoon in the west. High temperatures at 10 to 15C.
Friday 01/03/19 Fronts moving across Ireland and the UK on Friday will bring a mostly cloudy day with rain for much of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Some rain for northwestern and southwestern parts of England too. Staying dry and brighter in the southeast. Highs at 10 to 16C.
Saturday 02/03/19 Sees the arrival of another low pressure system to the northwest of Scotland. A cloudy day for most with very strong winds. Rain for Ireland and western parts of the UK through the afternoon which will move further east through the evening. High temperatures at 8 to 14C.
Sunday 03/03/19 Low pressure moves to the northeast of Scotland. Another very windy day with cloud and rain for western areas. Drier and brighter in the east. Highs at 7 to 12C. Monday 04/03/19 Monday sees the arrival of another low pressure system to the northwest. Wet and very windy across the south of the UK. Persistent rain or drizzle over western areas. High temperatures at 6 to 13C.
