Thursday Night Fronts will be spreading eastwards through Ireland and the UK overnight. This brings rain, the most persistent and heaviest in western and northern Ireland as well as Scotland and northwest England. Patchier drizzle to the south, most affecting western coasts and hills. Lows at 7 to 10C.
Friday Low pressure clears eastern Scotland on Friday. This brings a band of cloud and increasingly showery rain across Ireland, northern England and Wales. Becoming windy with gales in the west. Brighter in Scotland and Northern Ireland with some heavy showers, these wintry over high ground of Scotland this afternoon. A drier start over the south of the UK, although some low cloud and drizzle on coasts and hills. A few bright spells inland. Highs at 6 to 13C.
Saturday A shallow but vigorous are of low pressure passes north through England, Wales and into southern Scotland on Saturday. This brings heavy periods of rain with it as well as gale force winds in much of England and Wales. The risk of snow over northern hills. Brighter in central and northjern Scotland but with some heavy showers. Brighter weather arriving in western Ireland, some showers here too. Highs at 11C in southern England, 4 to 7C in Ireland and Scotland.
