UK Forecast: Sunny Sunday - Cool, frosty mornings, Mar 30 - 11:03

Sunday High pressure will be centred across northern Britain. Sunshine and broken cloud for many places, although the remnants of an old front may bring thicker cloud and a few showers to southern England. Chance of patchy rain in the far northwest of Scotland. Breezy in the south, and feeling quite cool. Light winds in the north. A frosty start for Scotland and northern England. Highs 8 to 12C.

Sunday night Clearing skies for many places will lead to a frost forming before dawn on Monday morning. Partly cloudy skies may hold on in the far south. Cloud may build in the northwest with some rain developing for Ireland and western Scotland before dawn. Lows typically between -1 and 2C, although sheltered rural areas may dip lower.

Monday Fronts driving into Scotland and Ireland bring some cloud and outbreaks of rain. The rain turning heavier in western Scotland, and spreading further across Ireland into northwest England during the afternoon. Dry overall for much of England and Wales. There will be some sunny spells. Highs 8C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.

Tuesday Low pressure moves across northern Britain. A cold front passes southeastwards early in the day, giving heavy rain for a time. A chilly day with showers. There will be a few brighter spells, the best in the east. Snow over high ground of Scotland and northern England, with hail as heavier showers pass through. Highs 6 to 11C.
