Becoming wetter for central England Good morning, High pressure exists to the south and east of Britain today, whilst low pressure is over the Atlantic, pushing into toward Ireland. A warm front encroaches across southwestern Britain bringing increasingly murky skies and drizzly rain, plus increasing winds here. Patchy rain moves into central areas through the day, becoming increasingly damp through the afternoon.
Eastern counties should stay mainly dry. A few showers for Scotland moving around slowly under light winds. A lot of cloud cover for most places. Today's top temperatures reaching a humid 18C or locally warmer in central-eastern areas, but nearer 14C in the north & northwest. Have a great day. Garry
