Morning Call: Showers in the west - Sunshine in east, May 16 - 05:44

Showers developing in the west, damp in Ireland, drier and brighter east Good morning, It's time for a subtle change in the weather today. There is a risk of showers in western parts of the UK. Outbreaks of rain affect Ireland and it may be rather murky here. eastern parts of the UK are likely to be drier and brighter with good spells of sunshine overall, although perhaps some low cloud drifting in later. Temperatures cooler than recent days.

The showers continue in the west through this evening, before fading. Then increasing cloud from the east will bring some spots of rain in much of England and eastern Wales whilst Ireland remains murky and damp. Scotland should be dry tonight with more clearer spells.

Get set for a cloudier, more damp day for many areas tomorrow.
