Wednesday 15/05/19> High pressure will be to the northeast of the UK. A slack southeasterly pattern prevails. Dry and sunny overall, perhaps a slight haze toward the south and east. Light winds for most, but a brisk easterly on the south coast. Some high cloud may come into Ireland. Starting cool with local mist patches and a touch of frost rurally. Highs 15 to 18C, locally topping 20C in favoured spots in the north & west.
Thursday 16/05/19 An east to southeasterly breeze is likely to freshen later in the week. More cloud may appear, particularly in eastern regions, and a small chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon. Temperatures ranging from 13C or below on eastern coasts, to 15 to 17C inland, or locally nearer 20C in the west & northwest.
Friday 17/05/19 An easterly breeze is expected to bring variable cloud and some patchy rain across Britain, focused on eastern regions, where it may be a cool, damp and dull day. West and northwestern areas faring best for staying dry and bright. Highs 13 to 20C.
Saturday 18/05/19 Confidence of detail is low. Some patchy rain is possible almost anywhere, with a chance of local heavy bursts. Sunny spells too, and feeling warm if sun comes through. Highs 13 to 21C. Sunday 19/05/19 An easterly pattern is likely to prevail. A few areas of showers and fairly cloudy skies. The northwest of Britain and Ireland should fare best. Some warm sunshine. Highs 13 to 21C. Monday 20/05/19 An uncertain mix of sunshine and scope for thundery bursts of rain in places. Fairly warm and humid for some. Highs 14 to 21C.
