Europe forecast: Unsettled centrally - Drier elsewhere, Jul 25 - 05:43

Largely dry across the Mediterranean, while rain will spread north and east through central and northern Europe. Saturday Fair conditions through Spain and Portugal on Saturday. Staying dry through the central Mediterranean, although a few showers possible over eastern regions of Italy. Greece should be largely dry and fine although some scattered showers do look to develop. Staying fair in Turkey with more sunshine to come here. Rain in northern parts of France. Fair in central and southern areas of France. Further rain in the Low Countries. More rain for western and southern Germany. Wet in southern and eastern Poland, fair in the west. Wet for Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland. Denmark will have sunny spells and scattered showers. The Baltic States will be mostly dry with sunny spellswet, periods of heavy rain. Remaining wet in Finland, some of the rain heavy. Rain across northern Sweden and Norway but drier in the south.

Sunday It shouold be a dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal as well as the islands. Italy too looking dry and sunny. Possible scattered showers across mainland Greece but mostly dry with sunshine. Dry for Turkey. Rain will gradually clear eastern France with sunny spells and isolated showers developing behind but cloudy skies for Germany, the Low Countries as well as much of eastern Europe, Austria and Hungary. Heavy spells of rain will continue to affect southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Largely dry and fine further north. A day of sunny spells and showers for Finland. Turning more unsettled for the Baltic States as a band of rain spreads northeastwards.
