Strongest winds typically across southern regions during the day, then a deepening Atlantic low moves into northwestern areas into the night bringing coastal gales and further heavy rain to northern areas.
Cloudy skies may break occasionally in the southeast. It will feel humid, and quite warm in any sunshine. Western regions of England and Wales generally covered in low cloud, rain and drizzle through the day. Heaviest rain over western hills.
