A mixture of sunshine and showers for the UK and Ireland today though most areas, away from the northwest, should stay dry. Cool in the north with highs of 13 or 14C, warmer further south with highs of 21 or 22C. Good Morning,
The new week starts mostly dry and bright across the UK and Ireland though showers may affect northwest-facing coasts and hills first thing. Through the morning showers become more widespread with some heavy, possibly thundery, bursts develop over eastern parts of England.
Showers tend to face through the afternoon but more persistent, drizzly rain affects the northwest coast of Scotland. Good spells of sunshine develop elsewhere though there will be variable amounts of cloud around. Highs range from 14C in the north to 21C in the southeast.
Conditions stay similar into Monday evening with showers to the far northwest. Mostly dry elsewhere with the best of the evening sun over England and eastern parts of Ireland and Scotland.
Have a good day!
Claire
