Morning Call: Wet in west - Patchy rain spreads east, Jul 03 - 05:44

Humid for England and Wales Good morning, Low pressure to the northwest will push a series of fronts across the British Isles during today. Rain will be heaviest and most prolonged in western Scotland, northwest England and west Wales, setting in for many hours over the hills. Patchy rain moves eastward across the Pennines. Northern Scotland also just seeing small amounts of rain.

Drier overall across southern and eastern England, with a little sunshine, but mostly cloudy skies. Brisk southwesterly winds, strongest around coasts and hills in the west. Low cloud and murk around west & southwestern coasts. Today's top temperatures reaching a humid 21C in the southeast, 18C in the Midlands and northeast. Cool where rain persists in the north and west, only 12 to 14C. Have a great day. Garry
