Areas affected...Western KS...OK/Northern TX Panhandle Region

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 363...

Valid 130111Z - 130215Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 363
continues.

SUMMARY...New severe thunderstorm watch may be warranted across
western KS into the northern TX Panhandle.

DISCUSSION...A reservoir of yet-to-be overturned instability,
characterized by MLCAPE of 2000-3000 J/kg, continues across parts of
western KS. 00z sounding from DDC exhibited seasonally steep lapse
rates with surface-6km shear supportive of maintaining organized
convection. Deep-layer flow suggests ongoing convection across
eastern CO/northwest KS should propagate into DDC CWA over the next
few hours, and this activity should be aided by increasing LLJ.
