Morning Call: Hot - Some showers, Aug 11 - 05:44

Hot again in the south and southeast. Showers mainly in the north to start could become more widespread across western regions. In the morning it will be unsettled over northern and western parts of the UK with showers about, some of these heavy and thundery over northern England and southern Scotland, while much of central and eastern England, Ireland and Northern Ireland start the day dry with some spells of sunshine. Through the afternoon these showers continue to affect parts of Scotland and northern England as well as Wales. Later on in the day and into the evening showers could develop across central and southern England, some heavy and thundery. Largely dry still elsewhere but with the risk of some isolated showers over central Ireland. Hot still in the south and southeast of England. Showers continue across central and western England, Wales as well as across much of Scotland through the night. Staying mostly dry elsewhere, with clear spells across southern England and over Ireland and Northern Ireland. Overnight lows still very muggy and warm in the south.
