Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 468...

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 468
continues.

SUMMARY...A few damaging gusts remain possible over mainly
southwestern Lower Michigan. An isolated strong gust is possible
into far northern Indiana.

DISCUSSION...A line of storms along a cold front currently extends
from southern Lower Michigan across far southern Lake Michigan, with
isolated cells also developing over northern Illinois. Objective
analysis shows weaker instability with greater inhibition over
northern Ohio and southeastern Lower Michigan, and several storms on
the northern end of the line have weakened as they approached this
air mass.

Southwesterly 925-850 mb winds continue to bring a warm, moist air
mass ahead of the front, with the most favored area for continued
strong to severe storms over southwestern Lower Michigan. A few
strong gusts may eventually develop into far northern Indiana as
well, assuming latest trends persist coverage-wise over IL.

At this time, additional watches are not anticipated.
