Morning Call: Fresher from the north - Warmer to south, Sep 09 - 05:44

Very warm south, but turning fresher and brighter from the north A fine start to this morning over central and southern parts of England. It's warm again here and there will be plenty of sunshine. Little change is expected into this afternoon across the south and temperaures may get to 24C. More cloud in the Midlands and Wales as well as northern coasts of southwest England where there could be some patchy rain as a front edges south. Fresher in Scotland and Ireland as well as northern England. This fresh, together with brighter weather will be passing south during the day. A few showers in the wind in northern and western Scotland, but most other places should be staying dry. Feeling cool in the wind to the north. Get set for a cool night with clearer skies. There will be thicker cloud in western Scotland bringing some spots of drizzle and milder weather here.
