Morning Call: Mainly dry, sunny spells - Few showers in east, Oct 15 - 05:44

Mainly dry with sunny spells although a few showers in the east Broken cloud across the country through this morning giving some sunny spells. There will be a scattering of showers affecting eastern coast and a brisk north easterly wind affecting much of central, eastern and southern England. Good spells of sunshine to in western Scotland and the west of Ireland. This afternoon sees a few showers affecting mainly the East of England although they could be an isolated shower over the hills of North Wales to. Generally it will be a bright afternoon with some sunny intervals. The best of the sunshine this afternoon in western Scotland and western Ireland. Cool for all. Tonight will be mostly dry with some clear spells especially in the west. Scattering of showers could blow through East Anglia and South East England and a few showers may affect east in Ireland as well. Generally dry elsewhere with the risk of a touch of ground frost in clearest skies over western Wales and western Scotland.
