Monday 19/10/20 Turning unsettled across northern and western areas on Monday as low pressure moves in across Scotland. Outbreaks of rain spread across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland and later these move into Wales as well as western and northern parts of England. Satying dry for much of the day over central and eastern parts of England though it will be rather cloudy here. High temperatures at 10 to 14C.
Tuesday 20/10/20 Monday's rain clears to the east from southern areas on Monday however it will continue wet for much of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland. A drier and brighter day for much of England and Wales once early rain clears though showers will affect western coasts and hills here and cloud builds over southern areas later. Highs at a relatively mild 15C in the south, cooler to the north at just 10C.
Wednesday 21/10/20 An area of low pressure is expected to be southwest of the country on Wednesday. Outbreaks of rain spread from the south across most of England, Wales and Ireland reaching into the south of Scotland too. A front over northern Scotland remains here for much of the day bringing persistent outbreaks of rain. A drier but overcast day for Northern Ireland and northwest Ireland. Windy with highs at 9 to 16C. Thursday 22/10/20 Rain slowly clears to the east on Thursday as a ridge of higher pressure briefly builds over the UK and Ireland. Sunny spells and scattered showers, these mainly over north-west coasts and hills, are the order of the day. Highs at 8 to 11C in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern parts of England and Wales; 12 to 16C in southern and central parts of England and Wales. Friday 23/10/20 A chilly but mostly dry and bright start to the day on Friday with high pressure in charge. A risk of frost as well as mist and fog patches first thing. Staying dry and bright for many with isolated showers over southwestern areas. Rain arrives to the far southwest later. High temperatures at 8 to 11C. Saturday 24/10/20 Low pressure to the southwest brings showery outbreaks of rain to England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland on Saturday. A drier and brighter day for Scotland with high pressure influencing conditions here. Highs range from 9 to 14C.
