Sunday A windy, unsettled day to come across the country with low pressure in charge. Eastern parts of Scotland and England look fine and dry this morning with sunny spells while a number of showers affect the rest of the country. The afternoon is a mixture of cloud sunny spells and showers for most areas. Some of the showers will be locally heavy. Expect maximum temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.
Sunday night In the evening an area of heavy rain spreads up into the far south of England with central and southern England to have a wet night with spells of heavy rain. A number of showers to persist across Scotland for the evening and the night with northern England and much of Northern Ireland and Wales dry. Strong southerly winds to affect the eastern channel and south east England along with East Anglia with gusts to 70 mph along the channel coast. Expect minimums of 3 to 7 Celsius.
Monday A breezy day. Lots of dry weather with sunny spells for the morning with a few showers along the south coast. In the afternoon there is a risk of a few showers across the country but many will stay dry with sunny spells. Largely dry in the evening and night with a few showers near western coasts. Frosty across Scotland tonight. Expect top temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.
Tuesday Expect a morning of sunny spells and scattered showers. An area of low pressure is expected to run up across the south of England in the afternoon spreading in outbreaks of heavy rain with scattered showers to the north. Heavy rain across Wales and the southern half of England clears away late in the evening leaving most places dry overnight. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
