Light winds overall, but an easterly breeze will freshen near the south coast. Starting cool, a rural frost at dawn. Daytime highs 12 to 15C.
Tuesday night Dry overall. Clear skies for most areas overnight will allow temperatures to fall away again, resulting in a slight frost before dawn. Isolated mist patches in some valleys, mainly in Wales and the west. Risk thicker cloud and patchy drizzle in far north-west of Scotland. Lowest temperatures 2 to 4C in towns and cities, but 0 to local -2C in rural areas.
Wednesday Fair weather continues in all regions. Sunshine widespread. Some broken cloud forming inland. A weak front passes across the far north of Scotland, bringing cloud and a little drizzly rain here. A strong easterly wind will affect southern England, making it feel cool on the south coast. A breeze too for the Midlands, but light winds in the north. Starting cool, but temperatures rising to 13 to 16C for most inland areas by afternoon.
Thursday High pressure centred to the north-west maintains settled conditions across most areas. Plenty of sunshine overall, although high cloud may thicken in south as a front over northern France edges north. Risk a few showers in south-west. Mostly light winds in the north, but a brisk easterly breeze is likely in southern regions. Slight frost at dawn. Daytime temperatures 13 to 15C, locally 17C in the south, also sheltered western areas.
