...THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE MID SOUTH REGION...

...SUMMARY...
Isolated strong to perhaps marginally severe storms could affect the
Mid South region through late evening.

...Mid South region...
Clusters of showers and thunderstorms will continue spreading
eastward/northeastward through the overnight hours within the weakly
unstable warm sector of a larger-scale cyclone. The 00Z Shreveport
and Little Rock soundings indicate adequate deep/low-level shear for
a few embedded stronger storms, posing an isolated/marginal severe
risk into the late evening hours. Thereafter, boundary-layer
decoupling should be sufficient to mitigate the severe risk, while
the center of the cyclone passes well to the north of the region.
