Tornado Warning Issued For Parts Of Tallapoosa County Until 9:00PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
    Northeastern Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 900 PM CDT

* At 829 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Trammel Crossroads, or 12 miles north of Camp
    Hill, moving northeast at 50 mph.
    HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
    SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
    IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Tallapoosa County.
