Areas affected...Eastern CO...Northwestern KS

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 363...

Valid 122322Z - 130045Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 363
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat will increase across portions of eastern
Colorado into northwest Kansas over the next few hours. Wind/hail
remain possible.

DISCUSSION...Weak mid-level disturbance appears to have topped the
ridge and is digging southeast across eastern CO. Convection is
gradually maturing ahead of this feature along a wind shift that
stretches from southwest NE to south of LIC. Over the next few hours
this activity should spread southeast into northwestern KS where LLJ
should begin to increase after sunset. At that time, a more
southward propagation along the instability axis is expected.
Hail/wind remain possible.
