Wednesday 15/07/20 Pressure is likely to build again from the southwest, allowing things to gradually settle down for many beyond midweek. A few areas of showers are likely for Wednesday, these mainly in the north and west in the morning, transferring to eastern counties into the afternoon where they may be locally heavy. Sunny spells and broken cloud. Highs reaching 16 to 22C.
Thursday 16/07/20 Fronts lying to the northwest may bring cloud and some light, patchy rain to western Scotland and northern Ireland, but much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland should see a largely dry dry. Sunniest toward the south and east. Cloudier in the northwest. Risk of a little rain around the Pennines and Lakes too. Highs of 17 to 24C, warmest south.
Friday 17/07/20 Pressure is expected to be generally high, although a front to the northwest may result in fairly cloudy skies for some along with outbreaks of rain for northwestern parts of Ireland and Scotland. A few showers possible elsewhere, mostly light and mostly towards the west. Southern counties may well escape generally dry and warm. Highs of 16 to 24C.
Saturday 18/07/20 A risk of some rain in the northwest, mainly western Scotland, whilst high pressure to the south should keep much of England and Wales dry with some increasingly warm sunshine. High temperatures up to 24 to 27C in the south. Sunday 19/07/20 Sunday may see the continuation of Saturday's conditions - dry and bright for many across central, southern and eastern areas while northwestern areas see some outbreaks of showery rain. Highs range from 16 to 27C. Monday 20/07/20 High pressure stays in control, centred to the west of Ireland. A few showers for coastal parts of northern Scotland, otherwise a mostly dry and sunny day.
