Monday A cool start for central and eastern areas but a relatively milder air mass will have moved into the west. Staying largely dry for eastern areas of the UK but wet in the west as a weak front pushes across. Patchy outbreaks of rain are expected across parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland but clearing here first thing with sunny spells and showers behind. Rain affecting western Scotland as well as Wales and western parts of England throughout the day. Best of the sun over Ireland, Northern Ireland and eastern Scotland. Temperatures not as cold as of late with highs at 12 to 18C.
Monday Night Patchy outbreaks of rain affect central and eastern parts of England overnight but these should be mostly light. A few isolated showers affect western coasts of Wales, Ireland and Scotland. Cloud pushes into Ireland and the west of the UK with clearer skies over central and eastern Scotland and the northeast of England. Overnight lows at 4 to 7C in the north and west, 11 to 13C over central and eastern England where cloud lingers.
Tuesday A ridge of high pressure builds across the British Isles during Tuesday allowing for a largely dry and fine day. Although cloud will be thicker across western Ireland, Northern Ireland and west Scotland as patchy outbreaks of light rain move into these areas through the day. Southerly winds will also strengthen along coasts. Feeling mild in the southeast with highs here at 19C but cooler further north with highs of 13C in Scotland and northern England.
Wednesday A wet start in the west on Wednesday but dry for eastern and most central areas before rain moves in here. Some far eastern places could stay dry throughout the day although turning cloudy. Rain could be heavy for western areas and in particular across Wales in this current track of the low pressure. Windy too in the west throughout with coastal gales possible. Highs range from 11 to 17C.
